The following map displays the coastline of the Ross Sea from Cape Adare to Ross Island. The area is now known as the Ross Dependancy and represents the area where the historic huts of Borchgrevink, Scott and Shackleton are managed by the New Zealand Historic Huts Trust.

The map below (published around 1957) shows the segment of Antarctic Territory previously claimed for Australia. Territorial claims are now suspended while the Antarctic Treaty is in force. Note that there are still stretches of coastline uncharted.
